Fiat has succeeded by looking overseas, and it is planning to build Chrysler Jeep sales globally. It is a market leader in Brazil. Now he is telling Italian managers of Fiat that Italy must look outside Italy and beyond the European market for sales. With the grim situation in the Italian economy he tells Italian managers: "I am never abandoning you."
