The alarming threat to American companies, workers and new investment that rising U.S. health care costs pose

American companies, workers and the U.S. economy are being squeezed between the slow progress in addressing the growth of obesity related diabletes and other diseases and the growth in the costs of providing the care for the growth in these diseases. And yet no coordinated action plan to tackle the problem between companies, government, universities, public interest groups, and other groups exists.
