An exchange between Anderson Cooper of CNN and Donald Trump in the second presidential debate, with Trump dismissing what Anderson calls sexual assault as "locker room talk" in a 2005 videotape of Trump. An increase in bullying in schools is mentioned by Hillary Clinton as one effect of what is considered acceptable in some quarters of American culture and society.

The gaffes Benghazi, using a personal email server as Secretary of State, being labeled by Sanders as a shifty "progressive," speeches at Wall Street firm Goldman Sachs. Benghazi and Libya described by Obama as his biggest mistake, Clinton struggling to push back with Panetta, and Gen. Keane and Jones against Obama's policy error. The personal email server an error that did not compromise national security. An old progressive in the style of Bill Clinton, but focussed on getting things done and reaching accomodation to do this. Wall Street connections now rightly seen as letting lobbyists influence policy, yet unlikely to influence policy just as Heidi Cruz's work as a director of Goldman is less likely to influence Ted Cruz's policies. The campaign financing are part of politics that determines U.S. elections, and the U.S. campaign financing needs to learn from the British system that extends from the parliamentary elections to the referendum on membership in the European Union. The gap with young women voters more a result of young women having less experience with the discrimination issues of an older generation of women, according to Pew Trust surveys.

The election campaign of 2016 will be remembered for the crude comments on women made during the campaign. The sense of shock and ostracism of such comments in the media was absent in the way it would have happened in previous moments in American history. The question at a gym in Haverford, Pennsylvania suburb, was typical of the angst expressed by young women about this situation.

U.S. president Obama's popularity ratings are at 51% in 2016 similar to Reagan's in his last year. In June 2016 he announced his endorsement of Hillary and efforts to unite the Democratic Party behind Clinton, including bringing Sanders supporters behind the nominee. This is also an effort to preserve his legacy. For Hillary Obama's and Sander's support is needed to improve support among younger women, and others who supported Obama in 2008 and 2012, especially with the wide differences with Republican nominee Trump.

There are a lot of distortions of facts in the debate. A frequent distortion is that Trump opposed the Iraq war before it started. In addition to distortions there is the frequent resort to exaggerations. One has to be very careful to correctly interpret what is being said to not be trapped by soundbites or wild statements.

The debate happens a day after the story about a tape from 2005 on Trump's lewd comments about women is shown on television. Clinton focusses attention on the comments by Trump on women, minorities and people with disabilities. Trump brings up Bill Clinton. What little discussion focussed on economic issues and taxes that has taken place happens in the latter part of the 90 minutes debate.

We took a different way to help millions around the world build educated informed mindsets that affects and shapes their lives. For a future that is open, global and digital, with everyone having access to high quality information. We believe in the renewal of America, renewal of Europe, the renewal of India, the rest of Asia, Latin America and Africa. The renewal of our supply chains, health, education, infrastructure, as we rebuild our countries after the pandemic. Literacy and knowledge we believe cannot thrive and grow in a world of web bots, web crawlers, or AI. This requires human curiosity, human learning, and human imagination. We take as inspiration the saying- “One has to be free, and as broad as sky. One has to have a mind that is crystal clear, only then can truth shine in it.” Every contribution whether big or small is precious- in this crisis and ahead.
