This could be one reason why young people, especially the 100 million people added to voter lists in India in the 2014 parliamentary elections, voted for the "Development" theme of the BJP party under Narendra Modi. Foreign investment, building the manufacturing base, bigger infrastructure plans and other jobs/growth strategies are needed quickly.
