Yet negative trends of low capital investment, lack of supply chain onshore, lack of investment in new technologies, are now being reversed. The warnings of the Trump administration are having an effect. There is now hope for a bright future with new investment and new technologies to regain U.S. leadership in manufacturing that it held for most of the twentieth century.
