Exxon, Shell and Chevron, suspend most oil shale exploration efforts in Europe, Russia and China, in 2015

With the sanctions in Russia, a ban in France, a moratorium in Germany, and poor results in Eastern Europe, combined with low oil prices, most of the shale exploration efforts of western oil companies are being suspended in 2015. Canada, the U.S. China, and Argentina are so far the only four places with positive results for shale exploration.
