Prime minister Modi says in an acceptance speech as he prepares for a second term, that "you have filled this fakir's bag with a lot of hope." All the dreams and aspirations of people are dependent on it. As India shifts away from the caste based distinctions to economic development results he said that the country will now have only two castes, the poor and those who want to alleviate poverty. He cited the win not as a victory for himself but a victory for people desperate for honesty in the system, a win for hopes and aspirations. A win for toiling farmers, for people who now live in proper houses, for the middle class that pays taxes and knows that the money paid in taxes is going to develop the country.

Values, the spirit of democracy and the Constitution requires that the country be run with consensus that we take everyone along, he said. Speaking directly to people in his acceptance speech in New Delhi he asked the crowd that he be judged on three parameters. That he would not do anything with bad intention, though he could make a mistake on the job. Asking the crowd to be quiet he continued that " he would not do  anything for myself," and "devote every moment of my time and every fibre of my  being for my countrymen."

He reminded everyone that it was important not to leave the humility, ideals and values behind just because of a win. It was still the same as when his party won only 2 seats in 1984.

We took a different way to help millions around the world build educated informed mindsets that affects and shapes their lives. For a future that is open, global and digital, with everyone having access to high quality information. We believe in the renewal of America, renewal of Europe, the renewal of India, the rest of Asia, Latin America and Africa. The renewal of our supply chains, health, education, infrastructure, as we rebuild our countries after the pandemic. Literacy and knowledge we believe cannot thrive and grow in a world of web bots, web crawlers, or AI. This requires human curiosity, human learning, and human imagination. We take as inspiration the saying- “One has to be free, and as broad as sky. One has to have a mind that is crystal clear, only then can truth shine in it.” Every contribution whether big or small is precious- in this crisis and ahead.
