A sign of the changing policies in Europe as it reflects on too loose immigration policies that leave locals left out to bring in foreigners, France's Macron plans to establish a system of quotas for immigrant workers. A singular complaint in France's rural areas and in East Germany is that the locals feel left out as the governments focus on accomodating immigrants. Europe's post war immigrant policy was designed for Europeans and integration along the ideals of post-war Europe so policies will revert to these original principles. In doing this there is also the strategy of blocking further losses to right wing parties of parties that have called themselves centre right or centre left but inadvertently drifted away from original principles guiding postwar European reconstruction and shifted towards a tech elitist view of the world.

Earlier the president had sent a letter to the WHO as a 30 day ultimatum and that he would reconsider membership if the WHO did "not commit to major substantive improvements within the next 30 days." The U.S. has given $450 million a year to the WHO compared to $50 million by China, yet China president Trump says has "total control over the WHO," showing deep seated dissatisfaction at the way the WHO has under current leadership has handled the coronavirus crisis and failed to take early action for an early warning system as were taken by earlier heads of the WHO such as Gro Harlem Brundtland of Norway during the H1N1 crisis in 2003, who was cited in Mr. Trump's letter.

The enlargement says an expert at John Hopkins is a result of less cell death and more cell proliferation, two processes that cause prostate growth in size.

Nineteen year old Belgian Zara Rutherford becomes the youngest woman to fly solo roundtrip around the world. Her parents are avid pilots and she learned to fly at the age of 14. She took off in a microlight plane Shark Aero on Aug 18 and landed after 52,000 kilometres of flying in Flanders on Jan. 20. She went through UK, Greenland, Americas, Siberia, Southeast Asia, India, Saudi Arabia and Europe. In that journey she went through freezing temperatures over Siberia, smog in India and wildfires over the US northwest.

She plans to study electrical engineering and would like to see more girls taking interest in science and engineering, and in flying planes.

Her approach was bold and straightforward. It was a trip that she thought was- impossible, expensive, complicated, dangerous, a logistical nightmare, so she never thought about it twice.

Social and economic changes in American society have come down to an alarming statistic. There are three young women for every two young men in American colleges. At Tulane the freshman class has two thirds women students. At liberal arts colleges the class is usually 60% women. As noted in this report by Susan Dominus in NYT there is a devaluing of college education because men have choices that are higher paying, conservatives have not emphasized college education, and "male drift" is a serious problem leading to male enrolment declining. And once in college men are dropping out at afaster rate. Would a generic Democrat do better? Mr. Biden's weakness is with less engaged voters says this analysis of a Times Siena poll showing less support in battleground states. One queer aspect of this poll is that Kamala Harris does slightly better because she does better with non white voters. Mr. Biden does well with white voters retaining all of his support achieved in the 2020 election with white voters. Another queer aspect of this poll is that a so called generic Democrat would win by large margins of over 5% in most of the battleground states over Mr. Trump, in Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania. Another queer aspect of the poll is that Michigan has all three- the Governor's position, the State Assembly and other positions in the hands of Democrats who have performed well in the state.

Personality, style and interactions could determine how Gorsuch acts, as much as his beliefs that resemble that of Judge Scalia. If there is some excessive effort to turn the Court into a political body as opposed to being neutral, would Gorsuch prefer a level of judicial restraint as a preferred alternative, is a question posed in this report.

Bars and restaurants filled with people just increases the risk. Consider that on one day June 20, 500,000 people went to bars in Los Angeles county the day after they reopened, as reported in the WSJ. This is similar to what happened in soccer stadiums in Lombardy, Italy, spreading the virus like wildfire. Experts say social distancing is easier to do in office locations and at work, than at bars, restaurants inside, and at soccer stadiums, or large gatherings of any sort. In just one situation 138 new cases were traced to a bar in East Lansing. Michigan.

Most of the restlessness about the lockdown was about not being able to get to work after weeks inside. And getting outside to a park for exercize was always safer because it was easier to keep social distancing in these places.

Women and black people were disproportionately hit by job loss during the pandemic. Hispanics were hit the hardest but also recovered faster.

As the lockdowns dragged on in June, mental health, vaccinations  getting treatment for health conditions, and economic well being, became major objectives. Labour is expected to get a majority after 15 years of failed rule by the conservative party with austerity policies, failure to invest in Britain and failure to improve the lives of working people. Astonishing as it may sound 58% of the British public now want to see Britain rejoin the European Union. Much of the support in blue collar working class communities in England for the Conservatives has faded and these voters have returned to support Labor. There is also a change in the mood in Scotland favoring Labor over Scottish Nationalist party. Unlike the US Britain under Tories has failed to invest in Britain's future in renewable energy, in climate change action and in infrastructure. Standard of living and support for the health system is declining.

Phoenix one can understand but Sacramento and Portland are hard to grasp- such is the acceleration of climate change effects across the Us and in other parts of the world. Does one then sees anywhere in the NYT, WSJ, W. Post, the Guardian, on the television news channels any coverage of what each candidate for the next 4 years running the US government is going to do for climate change effects? Inaction on climate change would produce severe costs for the US economy which will drain its resources 2-4 years from now as the effects of climate actually accelerate when nothing is done. This could cost as much as a trillion dollars in 2028 if nothing is done for climate change under the former president.

Try to do it on your own for most flexibility so you can improvise to suit your mood and inclination. Do a few things well that you enjoy and stop there, don't stretch yourself thin. The reason for this is that startups need extensive experience, some of that experience comes from industry and companies the founders have worked with. Another characteristic that comes with experience is the energy and aptitude for the job that they can bring.
