Luther nailed his theses to the castle door of the church in nearby Wittenberg, calling for an end to abuses in the Catholic Church. He holds an ecumenical service in the stone chapel of the monastery to make a gesture for unity between the Catholic and Protestant faiths. He also visits Muslim leaders and calls for improving interfaith relations.
