The gap between the devalued yuan in mainland China and the yuan in the offshore market of Hong Kong in September 2015

The yuan is about 2% lower in Hong Kong than the devalued yuan in China during September 2015. Experts say any move by China's central bank, the PBOC to further devalue the yuan to promote exports, would lead to increase in capital outflows at a time when the economy is showing slower growth.
