The effect on corporate culture of lengthy anti-trust investigations- Microsoft and Google

The long process of fighting anti-trust charges and losing led Microsoft to bring legal experts into the product development process, slowing it down by requiring legal clearance and modifications. This eventually affected the corporate culture at Microsoft. It became more bureaucratic and less entrpreneurial, slower to respond to rapid changes. A similar process could now take place as Google faces anti-trust charges from the European Commission in 2015, say experts.
