Compared to previous periods like the FDR administration when business skeptical about the policy of the Democrats remained critical, there is a different situation today when bipartisan policy has been developed for years and a consensus was reached after the Reagan years that was followed through the Democratic Clinton administration, so that critiques of policy can be used to improve the way things are done to address the economic problems facing the country.
