A retired Air Force general who was Associate Director of Military Affairs at CIA 2021-2024 working with Central Command on special missions is known to DJT since 2019. Lt. Gen. Dan Caine, a F-16 fighter pilot, is the choice for Joint Chiefs in 2025. He is a 1990 graduate of Virginia Military Institute where he graduated with a degree in economics. He got a Masters degree in Air Warfare from American Military University.
