Much of Google's efforts in the last five years have gone into preserving its monopoly of the search business without adding much through innovation and new ideas. The monopolistic behaviours have attracted the attention of regulators. Microsoft once a monopolistic behaviour company is now playing the role of a challenger with new ideas and concepts.
