Recent economc decisions by Zardari continue to show that he continues to show a strong tendency to use public office to benefit himself or his friends with disregard for the interests of ordinary and poor Pakistanis. And it appears strange that he is assuming an office that of President where Musharraf had accumulated many powers. He is also at odds with Nawaz Sharif the other leader now in the opposition from Punjab province over the reinstatement of judges and the former Chief Justice, and with the military.
