The App store an online software clearing house created by Apple has downloaded over 60 million programs for the iphone for users in the month Apple opened the App clearinghouse. Apple is letting creators of the software programs keep 70% of the profits keeping only 30% for costs inclduing expenses from credit card transactions and other expenses. It sees software as the differentiating factor that promotes its iPhones.
