China is fast tracking a lot of coal gasification plants but not much effort or attention is being given to the carbon dixide that it will generate . And technologies to capture and store the carbon dioxide emissions are nowhere near being a reality. China will soon pass the U.S. as the largest source of greenhouse gases in the world.
