Hunt Oil signs a deal to explore for oil in the Kurdistan region of Iraq. Because national legislation on oil has been stalled in the Iraqi Parliament, the Kurdistan regional government has passed its own law consistent with the provisions of the national legislation, and the deal with the Hunts is under this regional legislation.
