The following is how it is described by the Blessed One, the Buddha, when he says it is the only way to find the right path and realize Nibbana, destroy pain and grief.

He lives with felling contemplation of feeling, ardent, clearly comprehending and mindful, overcoming the grief and covetousness of the world of feeling. He lives with mind contemplation of mind, ardent, clearly comprehending and mindful, overcoming the grief and covetousness of the world of the mind.
