Roy Cooper of North Carolina says Kamala Harris has visited the state 15 times and will be there next week. He says North Carolina is the fastest growing state in the country and was lost by 1.3%, that this time it can be won as it was won by Obama in 2008. Cooper,  two term governor of North Carolina says Mark Robinson the Republican candidate for Governor is the most extreme candidate for Governor in the US right now, with open disrespect for women, and it will draw voters to voting booths in large numbers. Cooper's view is that it will help Harris, that "all of the confluence of the issues makes this state a state Kamala Harris can win, and I believe will win." In 2020 Roy Cooper won by 250,000 votes or 5% of the vote margin over  Lt. Governor Dan Forest. The key to North Carolina is in the I-85 corridor, a suburban region with cities and university towns that are home to more than two-thirds of the state's population and casts almost 70% of the state's vote. The state's five largest counties-- Mecklenburg home to Charlotte) Wake (home to Raleigh), Guilford (home to Greensboro), Forsyth (home to Winston Salem) and Durham (home to Durham)--are all located in this area. Making many visits to the state, and strong grassroots effort is essential. It came up in Congress in February by this time Trump was made nominee of the party and he blocked it so that he could use the issue in an election. This says a lot about character and more than mere fact checks shifts focus on the characters of the two people running. People ask yourselves what you would have done in this situation, and what would Kamala have done, would she have blocked a bill that would permanently fix the Border and change US asylum policy?  Biden went on to do this by executive action bringing migrant flow numbers down to where they were under Trump and Obama, and more than that put together a bipartisan bill with Republican Senator Lankford that Kamala can now sign into law.    ...

Twenty Democrat Governors meet with Biden on July 3, 2024. All says they support Biden. Governor Newsom put it this way- "I heard three words from the president tonight. He's all in. So am I." Newson said he was not just a defendor of the president, he was a passionate supporter of Biden. Most say those who can hear understand that his achievements are undeniable. Governor Whitmer said "He is in to win it. And I support him." Kamala Harris said "We will not back down. We will follow our president's lead." Governors from Minnesota and Maryland said "He had our backs during Covid. We have his back." The problem it appears upon closer look is that the media did nothing, nothing to question where it should ask questions about what is not in character with Lincoln, Wilson, FDR, Truman, Ike, not in character with the founders Jefferson, Adams and Washington. It did not look closely at what president actually said- only the delivery which can depend on the day- an educated media would never do this. The media's credibility today is the lowest it has ever been, on this basis the media including the largest television stations and the newspapers have failed, and failed the Nation. In the UK the media supported Brexit and failed the British nation, this is how the British people feel today as they go to vote in the general election on July 4th. It is the reckless behavior of the unelected media that is put to the real test in 2024. ...
