The Hunter Biden investigation for non payment of taxes and illegally carrying a firearm was done under the US Attorney for Delaware David Weiss in 2018 appointed by Republicans, and extended into the Democratic Biden administration with Attorney General Merrick Garland. It ends in a plea deal. WSJ says this protects the Biden administration from any claims that it was helping the president's son.  He is the second son of Joe Biden and Neilia Biden. His mother and sister were killed in a car accident when he was a child. The only survivors Hunter and his brother Beau. Beau died of cancer in 2015. Hunter suffered a decline after that period leading to a divorce with Buhle in 2017, a troubling period for the whole Biden family she says. Hunter is a graduate of Georgetown and of Yale law school.

A report by the Longevity Science Panel for the UK says the life expectancy gap between the richest and poorest neighborhoods in England has increased since 2001. In 2001 this was 7.2 years, by 2015 this increased to 8.4 years. The government points to cancer rates, the Longevity Science Panel report authors say income inequality was the main factor. To do this report LSP looked at data from the Office for National Statistics for 2015, which divided England into 33,000 residential areas and rated them on factors ranging from income levels, health, education and crime. This report points out that men and women from the bottom fifth were 80% more likely than the top fifth to die in any given year.

What is less known is the story about the sudden reversal in his health and finances after he left office, his effort to finish his memoirs in the last year of his life stricken with cancer. Noonan has left it to readers to draw meaning, wisdom and virtue, from Grant's experience. Grant, who led the Union forces in the last years of the American Civil War in the 1860's was next only to Lincoln in the country's estimation as the war ended. Humility is the main part of virtue and Grant was all the better for having it. This applies to all past and future presidents. The $1.2 trillion bill that was negotiated a day before March 22 deadline will be voted in the House on Friday. Senator Ms. Murray of Washington state and Rep. Rosa DeLauro of Connecticut secured spending on child care and education programs- a 9% increase in Child Care and Development Block Grant, and a $275 million increase for Head Start, $120 million for cancer research.For the Border the spending bill puts in a 25% increase in funding for technology at the southern border, 8000 more detention beds (Congress funded 34,000 beds), 2000 new Border Patrol agents. Shalanda Young, Janet Yellen and Jared Bernstein of the Biden economic team went before a Appropriations committee in the House. Rep. Steny Hoyer said the Congress that passed the Inflation Reduction Act, the Science and Chips Act and other Biden legislation to aid the economy was the best he has seen in 40 years in the US Congress.

The cost to America for obesity related or weight related medical bills is estimated at $190 billion a year, in three years this would help renovate the aging U.S. infrastructure if people changed their habits and education was designed to help change the way Americans live. Even harder to understand is that only 2% of America's farmland grows fruits and vegetables, according to the Guardian report which says this would need to be 4% to meet the needs of the people in the U.S.. These are alarming facts and need more public awareness by this being getting widespread attention on the internet. ...

Economists estimate a loss of 0.5% to 1% in GDP from the move to cancel large denomination rupee notes by the Modi government to stem corruption. Forecasted growth was at 7.6%. The real estate sector where most deals are in cash and black money is most hit. At the same time more deposits are being made of old currency notes, increasing the money banks have to lend. The government says the rural sector is not affected as badly as critics suggest- with 6.3% increase in sowing of winter crops.
