Sweden now has parental leave at 16 months and extraordinary benefits for mothers and parents. This shows that once the birthrate drops below the replacement rate it stays below the replacement rate even after extraordinary government effort. Shri Ranga Polymers of Karur in Tiruchirapalli district, Tamilnadu, takes 15 lakhs of single use discarded plastic bottles a day from different part of the state to produce fabric. It takes 6 to 9 bottles to make a jacket like the one worn by the prime minister in parliament. The process of making the fabric is for washing, drying and crushing the bottles, and passing the chips through a machine to form the polyester fibre that is then knitted into polyester fabric. The U-2 plane of the US Air Force flies at 70,000 feet. It is in service for 70 years and was last made in 1989. The U-2 Dragon Lady was used to track the Chinese spy balloon at altitudes not reached by conventional airplanes. The USAF has a fleet of 31 U-2 planes. The U-2 made by Lockheed first flew in 1955 with flights over the Soviet Union. 2 U-2 planes flew around the Chinese spy balloon with sensors that enable it to examine the balloon and jam its electronic signals.

She tells Sansad TV in an interview that she was nervous and thought to herself how could a sportsperson handle such an assignment.
