Inflation is over 2% in Japan for the 22nd month. Decline in working age population by the 1990's, the shift of jobs and factories overseas, and the banking crisis all led to deflation in the Japanese economy. By 1998 inflation was setting in and has continued for two decades to 2022. This could happen in China as it's economy faces similar problems which is why linear projections from the last 10 years for China are misleading and erroneous, just as linear projections for India from the previous decade's growth were misleading and erroneous after 2014. The second decade after 2024 is likely to lead to major investments in infrastructure leading to India joining the developed nations.

Larry FInk of Black Rock uses the word exactly for what it is not more not less- that is Transition Investing. Mr. Trump's intent matters and Attorney General Barr's telling Trump that there was no substance to fraud claims.  WSJ says the state RICO law is broadly written giving the state prosecutors more latitude than federal prosecutors when pursuing alleged criminal enterprises.The Georgia RICO law on racketeering say defense lawyers is unconstitutionally vague and overbroad. Yet the state's highest court has upheld the law and cases have been filed and successfully prosecuted in Georgia. Most recently by prosecutor DA Fanni Willis against 35 school officials and teachers for a test cheating scandal. Of 12 charged in that case 11 were convicted, one acquitted.

A Government Accountability Office report of 2024 estimated the “federal government could lose between $233 billion and $521 billion annually to fraud.” The GAO report said “a government-wide approach is required to address it,” and advised that Treasury take up and “leverage data-analytics capabilities” for the job of stopping questionable payments and payments that look dubious. This was suggested as a necessary step to cut waste and fraud in a bureaucracy that is this large.
