This report in the DW on Brexit shows Britain deeply divided, with older voters supporting Leave and younger voters coming out for Remain. Most of northern England and Wales coming out for Leave, and London, Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds  with Scotland and Northern Ireland coming out for Remain. The failure of Labor Party to rally its supporters under Corbyn also rankles with some in the Remain campaign. Corbyn avoided joint appearances with the Remain campaign and said he was 7.5 out of ten in favor of remaining in the EU.

Three members of parliament from Britain's Conservative Party who backed a second referendum on Brexit to cancel Britain's exit from the European Union left the party to join eight members of the Labour Party who left the Labour party earlier. They formed a new group in parliament called the Independent Group. This narrows Theresa May's majority in parliament to 8 members and increases chances for a new election. The Saudi increase production but only by a modest amount of 300,000 barrels a day. President Bush meets the Saudi king in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and with Al Naimi, the Saudi oil minister. Pressure is increasing in Congress as some Democrats are calling for sanctions against the Saudi government. The Saudi position is that they will increase production only if the refineries demand it. Odd position because refineries are not going to increase demand as long as they have to pay higer prices for crude oil and their margins are shrinking from higher oil prices- this is true of the independent refiners like Valero and Tesoro.
