US and EU say this money s fueling the Ukraine war, along with higher purchases than this by China from Russia, which add to Russian oil revenues and higher oil production. The order takes effect in 21 days so that India has time to come up with an agreement with the US. The Swiss also are scrambling to get an agreement, hit with 30% tariff.

Mississippi County, Arkansas is one such rural area where US Steel and other steel makers are putting in new plants to make 12 million tons of steel a year. Land around the city is subsiding from overuse of pumping of underground water. Floodwaters do not drain into the sea as is normal. Walls protect the parts of the city that are below sea level.

The U.S. and India see a surge in coronavirus cases. Per day cases surged to 40,000 on June 25 in U.S. and 17,000 in India. Alabama, Idaho, Nevada, Arizona, California, Florida are seeing a surge in new cases. Texas, California and Florida all recorded more than 5000 cases each.
